Adding ‘gender identity’ and ‘gender expression’ as protected grounds in the anti-discrimination provisions of the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms.

Adding ‘gender identity’ and ‘gender expression’ as protected grounds in the anti-violence and anti-hate speech provisions of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Making hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgery readily available to those who want it.

Making it easier to change one’s vital information on government documents, to ensure proper identification.

Putting an end to discrimination in housing, employment, public services, and private business.

Putting an end to the myths and misperceptions surrounding transsexual, transgender, and genderqueer individuals and their lives.
