Queer Ontario Brief LGBTQ2 Health in Canada

The House of Commons Standing Committee on Health (HESA) have been holding committee meetings since February 28, 2019 to study LGBTQ2 health in Canada. HESA invites individuals and organizations to submit Briefs on LGBTQ2 health in Canada with the possibility of appearing on the committee to provide a deposition.  Queer Ontario (and its predecessor organization, CLGRO) have a long history of activism and advocacy on the health needs of LGBTQ2 (Queer & Trans) individuals and communities with a focus on the social determinants of health and impacts on the marginalized and the particularly vulnerable.

Queer Ontario completed our submission brief to HESA on May 1, 2019. You can download our submission titled,  “Queer Ontario Brief LGBTQ2 Health in Canada” at the committee’s website here.
